Anyone else work as a nomadic photographer? My wife and I sold everything we own about 6 months ago and bought an RV. We travel and take pictures for a vacation rental company. Loving the RV life. Anyone else travel and work full time as a photographer?

How did you build your lists of clients? Did you already have relationships before you took to the road?
>>2917928
The company I work for has the clients. They just tell me where to go. I schedule it and then we hit the road.
>>2917925
>trouble
I would leave Risk and Sorry! out too, just to fuck with the buyer's subconscious.
>>2917954
Had it been Oklahoma, I would have surely gone with Twister.
>>2917956
Naturally. Can't forget Tornado Rex, either.
>>2917925
What are we supposed to believe here?
That the loser has to stand up?
Or that there's no chair on the other side of the table because the house is hosting an exhibition tourney for a roving Trouble grandmaster who goes from table to table, moving instantly, and crushing amateur players as wheat before the harvester?
>>2918001
Is it just me, or is there a bench there?
>>2918013
There's definitely a bench. Anon failed his visual literacy exams.
>>2918013
Can confirm,there is a bench.
>>2918013
There is no bench - that's the edge of the table. Most likely no chairs on that side because of space allowance in room. Why you would have a long wide table in a room that small is beyond me though, A nice round breakfast table would suit it much better.
>>2918116
There is definitely a bench. You should get your eyes checked. You probably think its part of the floor because you're so blind you can't even tell it's spatially above the air purifier in the corner.

shit!! Told!
what will they say now?
>>2918184
I own up to my error but still stand by it being a shitty use of space.
>>2917932
How's the pay? Surely this isn't the only thing that two people do for money. How does one go about finding simple jobs like this if they are also planning on living full time on the road?
How many properties are you shooting per day? I dont see how it would be financially viable unless you were doing at least a house per day.
Or are you on a wage?
Please anon, tell me about your finances.
>>2917826
show us more of your RV dude
>>2918368
Pay is decent. $20 an hour plus mileage. We get 40 hours a week.
>>2918375
I shoot about 4-5 a week. The company we work for is worldwide. They have people shooting somewhere every day. There hasnt been a week that I dont get 40 hours because I can always edit other peoples pictures if I dont have any of my own to do.

>>2918534
I mean who cares what they decide to be, as long as it makes them happy and they're not bothering anyone
>>2918534

Make the drive to Austin, def worth at least a couple hours there.
>>2920791
I go to Austin weekly. We've been in the Hill Country area for about 3 months.
how did you find the job ?
I would love to earn some bucks with traveling
i've been traveling for 2,5 years now , but i recently just started doing photography .. i'm pretty good at landscapes .. but i have no idea how or who too reach for my pictures ?
so how do you find that kind of companies .
>>2922422
One of those little pandas bit my fucking knee.. It was only after that I read the sign that said people get attacked all the time and not to go too close.
Didnt even get a good shot of one.
No one is going to pay your for photos that literally everyone going to the same fucking places is taking familia, and your skills are no better (and probably worse) than every other enthusiast.
The only way to make money is to market yourself and become popular enough to make money from advertising.
>>2917826
do you have an ig or something OP?
>>2922422
I was looking at job opening for a company that a family member of mine was recently hired to manage some Bed and Breakfast properties for. They had a photography job and I just randomly applied and nailed the interviews. They hired me over a photographer with more experience and we sold our entire apartment, a car and a storage unit, bought the motorhome and hit the road.
They sent me all the equipment, a laptop, a phone and then trained me in the way they take photos. That was that.
