Hey /p/, I was wondering how I need to shoot in order to get the pastely colours like pic related?
I think it has to do with overexposing film but I'm not sure.
Here's some more pics like pic related:

As in the colours are pastels.
bump on this, would also like to know how nguan gets his colors

He shoots Porta 400, and overexposes it by a stop, that's pretty much it. Of course you need a scene with the correct light and good subject.
I peronally also adjust a few things further in LR: raise shadows, raise highlights, decrease contrast, raise vibrance and decrease saturation
Bruh, Nguan uses a lot of Lightroom presets and post to achieve the colour palette he has - If I remember when I get home, I'll upload a preset that is similar to what he achieves. I've been experimenting a lot to find his style.
Have a look at lightroom, download to VSCO presets and start messing around. It's not hard to get.
A lot of what happens in his photos is due to his shooting style as well. This kind of colour scheme only works with cleaner shots.
Here's something I shot recently and edited in a similar style: https://www.instagram.com/p/BJ4BqZyhpmj/

I don't think these colours can be achieved by a VSCO filter
