You really fucked up this time.
There is NO WAY you can recover the lost data.
Your screwed.
>>2912965
I mean if you can recover data on hard drives wouldn't be possible to do it on an SD card too?
>>2912944
Recuva.
Or RescuePro from SanDisk

Last time that happened to me this saved my ass:

SD cards dont actually "delete" photographs when you hit delete - they get marked for over writing.
I had an angry ex delete 300 photographs of us off an SD card, but when i used software to recover the card I got 90% of the JPEG files back (the raws were lost) and the rest were corrupted.
So yeah, its possible.
(My gf even asked me for some copies later)

I hope you didn't give any to her.
>>2912944
I always use photorec
>>2915451
Me too
It just werks
I used to have this d70s with fucked card controller, crashing the entire filesystem.
Did recovery all the time (NEF), 100% fine except for the particular files the card controller corrupted.
Go download "recuva" by Piriform. It's free. Thank me later

Done it many-a-time. Just had a copy on the CF card in the CF card slot.

But seriously...
Don't do shit with that card.... Just get this program and it will be ok. Sandisk gave me a copy of something with my CF's too. Or maybe it was lexar...

OP here
I used Disk Drill, I paid $90 for the license but it worked extremely well for me... I wish I coulda just found a free program but I felt so desperate to get my files that I just went ahead and paid for a license.
what sd card should i get for my mirrorless. new to this.
>>2915451
This is the correct answer.
Recovered 300 RAW files after I accidentally formatted the card. Quick, easy and free.
>>2920478
speed depends. There is such little variance in price, may as well get a faster card.
If your shooting raw full res, your cameras buffer might fill if you're taking many consecutive shots. The faster it can copy to SD card means the buffer will empty faster allowing you to resume.
>>2920491
is there a speed you recommend ? really lost here.
>>2920501
just buy class 10 sandisk or something. Get it from a physical shop though, most sellers sell fakes.

+1
I have tried a few data recovery programs and photorec is consistently the best. If you have raw files you need then you can tell it to look for them as well as jpgs (or pretty much any other file type for that matter).
