Where do you keep/display your cameras /p/?
This is mine, literally a piece of shit shelf I got for £5 from some shitty charity shop.

Some of us prefer using our gear.
>>2911474
I use like 90% of these cameras, but I need somewhere to put them in the mean time
under the bed
i'm a bit jealous.
care to show what you use all that gear for?
>>2911481
>jealous of a bunch of shitty paperweight cameras with no-name lenses, shit-tier polaroids, and one shitty MFT point and shoot
Are you serious?
>>2911473
>all that clutter
This image is triggering me.
I really fucking hate hoarding shit, why do you need like 3 MF cameras, 2 polariods, a mountain of 35mm? This is just some mental health issue.
I have this rule of thumb where I buy quality, but in small amounts.
Get rid of that landfill fodder OP!
>>2911473
That's a whole lot of trashcams, m8.
It ain't a collection til you own something collectible.
>my shelf is even nastier tho
Love your polaroid, man

Meh, I think you can be a serious photographer and still enjoy old cameras as cool toys or decorative objects, the two aren't mutually exclusive.
I'm a working pro and I still have a shelf of classic film cameras in my living room. People literally give the things away, even pretty good cameras (I got an F2 and a Mamiya C33 that way, for example), and if nothing else, chicks think they're cool when they come over.
I'm already in mental anguish from just owning more that one 35mm film body, and worst yet they're different mounts. I'm always thinking I should simplify my gear (even sell off all my film stuff) but they're just wonderful tools even if outdated. For the record, I'm talking about my Bessa R3m and Nikon FM3a.
To answer OP, I keep them on the top of my shelf. I do my best to keep dust off all my stuff. I fucking hate dust in general. I've got a dust filter and check regularly. There's nothing more disgusting that dusty cameras.

fuck u faggot
>>2911473
Enjoy yor lens fungus.
>>2911534
That's just me then, cos I can't stand clutter. My gf moved recently and gave me all her film cameras and stuff, and I've told her I'm getting rid of it. Granted if they were F3's and M6's, I'd be holding onto them, but they're mostly plastic shit.

this is hot
I keep a small collection of everything which is ready to go in this cabinet. the rest lives in plastic containers and i get it out when i need it.

hot damn, it's a pleb-party up in your place
All you need is a 43-86 zoom for that Nikomat and you'll have the single most underwhelming camera collection of all time.

i've always thought it was fine to have more than one camera of the same format as long as they serve a purpose
a nikon f100 and a stylus epic use the same format but you don't shoot them the same way
>>2915301
whats your favourite?
>>2915292
I'm honestly not even sure what model it is because I found it with the nameplate missing. I did some searching and I'm pretty sure it's a Yashica Mat LM with the meter and nameplate removed.
I hate it, honestly. I found it at a thrift store for dirt cheap and it's in good working condition and everything but it's just not any good and I think it's extremely clunky so it's mostly just for decoration. The Bronica is much better.
>>2915301
how much for the GR?
On top of the freezer. Then scattered around everywhere when I need to get something from the said freezer. Back on top of the freezer again when I get tired of tripping on them on the way to the toilet at night.

>not keeping cameras in the dry cab
im sure those glasses are gonna haze and fungus.. all that humidity in the room..
>>2915901
>most of these cameras have lived in boxes under beds or on un sealed store shelves for the passed 10 years
>omg it's 25c outside u gon get fungus
lmao, why dont you actually use your gear instead of worrying about it
>>2915301
Just thinking about selling some stuff I have, and buying something "better" with the money. Why exactly did you not get along with the Contaxes? I'm asking because I shoot a Mju II a lot, and a GR for digital, and was thinking of maybe getting a Contax T2 or G.
>>2915301
why have you decided to sell the g1 and planar?
I have some older shitty lenses as well.
Really need to get a nicer tele for wildlife now that I have a good job.

How is that tripod? Does it suck?
>>2916606
I've only used it a few times, it's mostly a just in case, if I'm on a hike and there's a good shot but not enough light. But it seems pretty solid, no complaints, and it's nice and light. I think that model's discontinued now though. It's a lot better than the bulky af raveli 70" with pistol grip head that I bought for some odd reason
