/o/tist here, not sure if it fits in this board but this is my first attempt at colorizing a photo. It's pretty bad but I'd like some constructive criticism if possible. I used Paint.NET for this one.

You got the diffused colour down on the car, but now you have to pay attention to the specular colours
Basically you have the base coat of the car coloured, but reflections carry the colour of whatever it's reflecting, so you have to analyse what objects are being reflected, what colour they are and add colours accordingly. Additionally, consider keeping the highlights less saturated so the car looks shinier.

Like the other anon said, reflections need to be coloured. The same with the foliage, it's all very one tone. No depth.
Also the glass and chrome are really, really offputing. It's like the car's a portal to depression.
