imo the weakness of the image is the shadow.
It's namby-pamby, it's not dark enough to counter-balance the object in some ("I am your reflection, which of us is real?!") sort of way.
But at its current intensity it just distracts from the other shapes by occupying an integral area (between the two actors) while being a medium-intensity blob.
I'd try out two copies, one with the middle shadow removed completely so that the two objects are emphasized and one with some processing to make the shadow powerful and high-contrast so it's an actual player.
I don't do abstract photography myself, and I scorn a lot of lazy modern art, still I find your geometries a bit captivating.

if there's an intention to this one, I'm not getting it.
And not a fan of it as a railroading-lines geometry piece because the vantage point is too high, feels claustrophobic and can't see much in the distance.
The angle also emphasizes the top surfaces, but the black lines are just unclean and the messy paper texture just looks rough and unpleasant.

Stacks of papers usually have some info statement of meaning corresponding to them, but there's no indication from the image itself and the writing dates/numbers are too out-of-focus to be the communication of the piece.
It might make a good disposable one-use caption photo if it's about some scandel or something, but artistically I just find it ugly.

It's a Ricoh GR, so it has a 28mm equivalent lens.
28mm is a great focal length. Very objective feeling but doesn't get into the super wide territory of 21mm

35mm equiv is probably way more useful for everyday photography, so you could pick up an older 21mm Pentax lens which would give you the correct focal length.
28mm equiv. is great and all but you really have to get close close close to fill the frame.

That's my main problem though. I use a pentax-a 28mm 2.8 and lately I've been finding I cant really get what I want in the frame. I vastly prefer 40-45mm for a 'normal' length as it's a bit wider than 50mm
