These threads are shunned, but I'm in desperate need of gear help.

I'm running a standard Canon T3i Rebel. And I'm about to start shooting for a Walking Dead fan film. And while I am not running film, and instead, digital (contrary to what The Walking Dead uses), what lens would you recommend going into a Walking Dead-esque project?
