Well Lomography have been up to their usual fart-knockery once again.
They have just brought out a dreamy, creamy, squirty, farty 64mm f2.9 Art Lens

I actually think it looks pretty good in black.
this is a literal fucking meme

>I actually think it looks pretty good in black.
So good it costs an extra hundred bux
That bokeh is disgusting, some of the sample shots are interesting but I wouldn't drop $500 on a toy lens when ebay is chock full of weird old glass you can get for 1/10th the price
I...I actually really like this.
Oh god, what's happening to me?
>>2902190
>that feel when you want weird old glass but don't know what to get
Know anything good off the top of your head for a k mount?
This isn't too bad. Not nearly as egregious as those digital collodion simulators.
>>2902220
if you're getting old glass you might as well forget about mounts and just get converters, try out a mirror lens to start, they're fun and cheap
>>2902241
K mount is an old mount, but I see your point.
>>2902123
I don't get it
What makes this lens so special
>>2902261
This is the same quality an 80's lens from a garage sale would give you, only in a gold tube

Pentax was a slut and let ANYONE make K mount lenses in the 70's. Here's a nifty fifty made by Sears as an example:

>same quality an 80's lens
lol no.
Focal Length: 64mm
Maximum Aperture: f/2.9
Lens Construction: 2 elements in 1 group
Shot wide open it will be terrible (that's a good thing, right?).
I've got a collection of unmounted achromats. Got a load when I was at uni, the Optics/Holography dept. was moving and a tutor gave me a box full they were chucking out. Found another couple of boxes in antique shops for cheap. Been meaning to stick some in front of my dslr for a while for shits and giggles.

I can't remember where I read it, but I saw an article claiming K mount has the most Lenes ever produced compared to every other mount

Biggest reason is that it's the oldest "live" mount. If Canon held on to the FD mount when going to autofocus, they'd have similar numbers, and if you consider all variants of the Nikon F mount, it'll be pretty close. The reason these are only close is in the post you've linked, but a giant hunk of the K mount's numbers just comes from being basically unchanged for so long.
