shit costs money, man. I only need couple of gigabytes for panoramas, and everywhere I look, it's like 20 euros a month for just that.

Got a old computer? Slap Ubuntu or Centos and run a website by yourself. Domain name is cheap.
It all depends on whether your internet speed is good enough to host

Got some advice on how to take pics like the old restaurant one?
>>

-keep a low ISO, usually the lights are bright when youre close so its reasonable to keep it around 100-200

-exposure/metering is key. overexposure leads to a weird halo glow around the lights. (If I could do it over I'd use a faster shutter speed, but I forgot my tripod.)

-adjust the white balance based on the background, helps the colors pop out more

Friendly Suggestion: make a copy of your blog on WordPress. There have lots of free "themes" for photographers. You can keep your blog, plus you can show off your photos in many ways, such as sliders, galleries, portfolios, lightboxes, and many more options.
WordPress is free and has free hosting.

ProTip:

If you can post photographs to Flickr, Tumblr and Instagram without getting thousands of reposts, likes and favorites, etc
- then there's probably no point in having a fucking personal website.

Your photos aren't good enough. Don't embarrass yourself.

Dude I pay $2/mo for more than enough web space. 2 years hosting for $40, 2 year domain registration for $20. Total of $60 for two years. Lots of great services to be had. I use Warpline, awesome customer service and I've never caught my website being down or slow.

I get what youre saying, but Alex gets a few hundred likes on Instagram. Are you saying there's no point in him having a personal website, despite the fact 100% of his living comes from his landscape work?

Nigga it's an artistic style. You take your raw files, put vsco on it for the tones & a lot of grain and nobody's gonna be able to tell the difference but filmfags will eat that ship up. In b4 "you can tell the difference"... not with a small res image on a computer screen you can't.
