Hi /p/,
I'm having a problem with FCPX. I was trying to create a timelapse, but some photos in the timeline look like in the photo.
No idea what to do, did any of you have a similar problem or know how to fix it?

Well, it's helpful. But in a different way.
I have another masterpiece for you, shame they are not intentional.
Another one. Same technique. Still, does anyone know of a fix for this?
>>2898177
You could have googled up this issue in the time it has taken for you to make these posts.
>>2898178
Trust me, looking for help here is my last resort.

As an experienced photographic equipment technician with decades of experience, my diagnosis is that your camera is broken and you should get it fixed or buy a new one.
You can venmo me later.

What could be broken, when it works? As simple program as Time Lapse Assembler does the job, but it offers little to no post. Also it's not a "one frame not working" kinda problem, every time I change project setting, the frames change.
BTW, I was working on RAW files. Not sure if JPGs work.
Still have no idea how to fix this.
It might just be glitching in the editing mode. Try rendering and see what happens.

Unfortunately no. Rendered time lapse contains those broken frames. Changing to a compound clip doesn't work either.

My assumption would be something to do with memory (e.g. running low on memory is fucking with its ability to concurrently load all of the images), but that doesn't seem right if it's not working as compound clip, unless the compound clip isn't prerendered. How long of a file/how many images?
Also, try it with jpgs.
>>2898406
Exactly 501 images, one image per frame. Will try jpgs soon.
Update: will try in the morning, the pictures are still rendering. Good night!
No problem with jpgs. But how the hell did RAW not work? Could it be, that my computer is too old?
