So /p/, I've started doing a bit of photography lately and I'd like to get some criticism.
I've mostly been taking pics off my phone and editing with Instagram.
Here's a link to an Imgur album with some of my stuff http://imgur.com/a/Ky9F4
Can I get as much criticism as possible, along with tips for editing and stuff.

I'd lay it down a bit with the filters. They tend to make the image look noobish and tacky. What are you shooting with?

Too much negative space.

Shooting with my phone, G7LO1 Huawei if it matters. I agree, looking back on them they are a bit overdone

What exactly does that mean?

Dependant on how serious you are about getting into it read up about it and watch as many videos as you can. I would also advise taking workshop classes and the likes to learn the basic principles and buy yourself a entry level canon or nikon dslr to mess about with. If you are just looking to take some interesting picture for your social media or something then I wouldn't bother wasting your money.

I'm saving up for a Canon T5i mostly for filmmaking, you can see one of my shoots in the imgur link. But I'd like to get into photography just as a side hobby

Ah well fair enough then, the 700d/rebel is a nice little crop slr to start with. if I was you I'd just try do some research online first about the basics of photography and editing since there are literally millions of guides and really just go for it. trial and error is the best way of learning, the more time you put into it the more you will get back and the better you will get.
