Hi, I just got a question: Which camera is the best one? The canon 1100D or the Sony A5000?
And if you want to take photos underwater, but dont got the money to buy a underwater house, do you know a way to do it?

Sony is better. Canons are pretty much meme cameras. You don't need underwater housing, just use gallon size ziplock bags and double bag it

Thank you! Will it work with zip bags? Need to try it then!

if you buy good quality bags, not the garbage from the dollar store.
There was a thread on here about using condoms to protect cameras and make them water resistant for boating and stuff. But I think somebody had tried it and said the latex in the condom is too opaque, even when stretched, to get a decent shot. Plus it fucked up the autofocus and other settings, iirc

Do you know which bags??

Dude, are you a fucking idiot? Don't do what

Is telling you to do.
No, you know what. If you think putting a $500+ dollar piece of electronics in a couple of plastic bags is a good idea...go for it.
FWIW, I did that with a Holga and Ziploc Brand freezer bags (double bagged) and the camera was soaked in a matter of minutes.
