Attended a Unity / anti-racism event in my city today, hoping to sell or give my images to the local paper (only giving if it's free promotion)
Was a good day, great weather although at some times super harsh - thoughts?
(Posting quite a few images, bear with)
local couple collecting for the food drive
there were a LOT of pride flags, but also a lot of crazy wind making it incredibly hard to get a decent photo
some of the choir singing
and the last one I'm posting here, a full shot of the choir (was aiming for one where the choir master was posing good and the flag was waving so you could see the words 'Pride' - not an easy task)

>anti-racism
>all white people
>waving rainbow flags
This just looks like a pro-gay rally.

negative. In my city the conflict is between mostly Polish people and English people, not black and white like the US.
There were a lot of rainbow flags but also signs and banners, just not flying as much as the rainbow ones.

Why weren't you throwing things at these hippies while taking photos? Would have been superb.

Meh.
This is why I only go to events where I know groups like the UPF and Anti-Fa are going to show up and fight.
Although the last time I went I was threatened by both sides to put the camera down and then by the cops who told me and actual media that were there to "stop encouraging them".

If it's a daily paper you are already too late, you should be contacting the photo editor not posting here
It's a shame it's not a crown like this one that gets plowed down with a truck.
Maybe next time.
