Hey just curious if any of you can help me out. I was curious on how to do certain editing effects. What program would be needed to cut a person out that's dancing and put them over another video.
Basically what's a good video editing program out there? I'm using Filmora but I can't for the life of me find out how to overlay a video on top of another video. I could do it in other programs but this one is strange.

Lots of options.
Export each frame as a jpg and edit with a transparency in photoshop
Or Use proper effects software like adobe after effects or 'alternative' software and mask, export, and overlay.
Ive never tried but that is probably what I would start with

Now, this is probably not the best way but you could try in Photoshop to select that colour range in that specific area to get the shape from all frames, won't be smooth or it'll take too much time or may not even work, but I'm no video editor.

can you post a screenshot of what you want to edit so we can see the background and any other info that might help you achieve this?
