I remember very clearly that it was shit.
I miss 4:3 monitors. They made so much more sense for 90% of the shit you do on a computer, since web pages, text documents, and the like are usually vertically arranged and you end up with miles of dead space on the sides with a 16:9 display. They were nice for working on vertical photos, too.
I think I prefer 3:2 for photos, though.
