What is the absolute best camera I can get for a drone? Sorry I dont frequent this board, my first time ever comin here. For reference I'd like to be able to have the same clarity as the drone shots in the vid embedded. thanks for any other drone advice/knowledge. I want to get one soon.

The drone usually has it's own proprietary camera. Cameras are heavy and you can't just stick any camera on there. If it's not the proprietary camera, it's a GoPro.
A Red Epic? Skys the limit to be honest. all depends on the drone.

OP here, I was looking at some of their stuff and I'm fine with using their proprietary cameras as long as they are good, I just dont know what to look for. is a gopro 4 a better choice if I have the option to swap out the camera it comes with?

Can't speak to the drones but I liked the footage from the DJI Osmo (gimbal) over a gimballed GoPro4.

Absolute best: Get a RED Epic and a Freefly Systems ALTA 8 with a MoVi Gimbal.
Otherwise a DJI Inspire 1 with X5R.
