Funny how >>2823943 is one of my least favourites. I dislike the composition and I messed up the settings in camera. Everything turned out way too dark. This is how I "salvaged" it. I guess it still kinda works...

Hmm, never thought about that. I used the F22 to get a slightly longer exposure to maybe get rid of a little more of the wrinkles in the water. Honestly, that wasn't too smart since my shutter speed was still 1/40"... Just noticed that, I thought it was slower.

In daylight like this, It will be hard to force a longer exposure even with a tighter aperture. If you really want longer exposures in daylight, buy a neutral density filter or two.

It's not that you've seen this, it's you reading exif and implying. Diffraction is never a reason to be bothered about, at least there are other reasons which come first.
