This is the same image with a local contrast mask applied around the tower. It would seriously fuck up the trees if I applied it to the entire image.
It strengthens local contrasts and brings out smaller details. It's perfect for statues or tiled buildings. I'm still experimenting with it myself.
I can also post an image where I could just generally apply it to the entire image.
It also has the tendency to create a weird haze against strong skies.

ALSO, what lens are you using? i see slot color abrasions on the scrap pile in the middle. i know you said you are a beginner and you can deal with it - fix it in photoshot, but get some better glass if you want to take your printable photos to the next lvl.

kinda cool, nothing interesting to me but i would have put the bottom corner in the frame just as the top. kinda the reverse of having leading lins go to the corners, have the leading corners go to the middle. and again dick around with the colors in PS to show that its a reflection, the reflecction is so strong i loose perspective sometimes, but im also a little drunk...

/p/ is a cool place because you can post pictures instantly and the boards are 10x more active than alot of other places, but remember that 99% of ppl here are trolls that only like leica and only like grainy BaW photos of old people in the city or a crooked down spout on the side of a building... The triangle pictures are my fav from that day. The shot is actually the reflection of a window, the trees/grass/path is behind me, the yellow triangle is light coming through a parted curtain inside the building I'm shooting. Thought it made a pretty neat affect. The reason the pic is so dirty is cause the window was disgusting

Also thank you for all the feedback. I know most are boring, I'm still trying to get a grasp of composition and editing, hopefully i'll be able to work out interesting photos at some point too lmao.

Did not noticed the color abrasions, so thank you for pointing that out as well. I'm using the default 18-55mm kit lens that came with my D3300. I'm already planning on buying a better zoom lens for outdoor and a 35mm prime for indoor/concerts, just gotta save up some cash.
