Find a subject that speaks to your goal, and then frame it correctly in the shot with balance, and not too many distractions or useless items in the frame around it. If your subject is the boats in that shot, then the whole right third of the frame shouldn't be there, as in this case, it's distracting and completely unrelated.
The whole shot is also far too cyan.

Her expression looks tense and painful, her left hand reinforces that. Your lighting has made her nose look huge, and her face look wrinkly and dry, and you haven't done any skin cleanup to keep her from looking crunchy.
The wrinkly shirt is sloppy, the rings don't match the lack of color in the rest of the shot, and there's just enough going on in the background that I'm wiping my screen wondering if I have smudges.

This is awesome. Cuba? (Cuba on the brain a lot lately) Great simple subject, great colors and simplicity in the palette, enough detail that you can look where you want without it being distracting. In the thumbnail, the empty space of the street bugs me and feels a bit top heavy, but enlarged, I don't feel it anymore.

Yea, that sounds like a good price for sure. Just be wary of any scuffs or marks that mean the camera could have been dropped. If any of the electronics are damaged or weakened, one bump and the thing is dead as a doornail. They're completely unserviceable.
