I'd say go out there, but expect it to be filthy, expect the locals to be impoverished and desperate and underhanded, don't expect a decent meal - it's all bland, multi-cultural, 10 page long menus and if you ask what the chef is actually good at, expect to be told "everything". However it is fucking cheap.

Even if he is right, a slight difference in the angle of the sun through 60 miles of more or less clear air isn't enough to dramatically affect photos. Everyone who saw him say it recognized it for what it was. It'll be okay.

Also, let's not forget that brighter light hitting a light colored surface like a light brown dirt road will also through brighter light to fill in shadows, keeping the contrast ratio more or less the same. It's fine. India is too bright for photos. It's a well documented problem. Nobody ever takes daylight photos there. This is actually true for anywhere on the equator. Tropical islands, bits of Africa, etc. We have no photos from those places in daylight because modern cameras can't account for the sheer power of the sun at such a steep angle.

When you do find it, be sure to recover the center of the image to keep the bloom from obliterating your subject (which is actually the people in the image, not the light, which merely makes the image itself look cool)

All in all, the landscapes are okay to good but the photos of the people are really, really bad mostly. You also don't seem to have any photos of interesting cultural places like places of worship or stepwells.

5/10 overall, would not hire for an international travel job, but Id probably follow your instagram and like photos occasionally.
