Okay, now we've seen your snapshits, and want to see the stuff you really care about.

Here's a double exposure.
I think it's on lomography-brand 100 iso colour negative film.

I did a bunch of these for a while. But it's just a gimmick.

The shutter in my SRT 100x was broken so it only exposed half the frame at 1/1000.
I shot the roll at that speed exclusively and then reversed the film in the canister (in a darkroom) and shot the roll at that speed again.
That second time you're shooting through the backing so I exposed it a couple stops more than the first time. Shooting through the backing is what gives that reddish colour and it is indeed also sometimes referred to as "redscale."

How is this not a snapshit? Did you lead the animal onto this spot and if so why did you lead him where there was an awful sign?

This is the only film shot I have handy on this computer, but I guess I'll post it. Velvia in a Mamiya C33, scanned on a Canon 9600.
I have some LF stuff around somewhere, and will be getting a Hasselblad soon, but don't currently have a scanner so I need to figure out the best way to deal with that. Maybe I'll go get a lightbox and use my DSLR to photograph the chromes or something.

i know it's medium format but this would be a much better image if you cropped a fifth off the top
>>2758921
I think you're right. There are a few other laws too, the exposure isn't perfect etc. (Although I think I did pretty well considering I had no light meter, I guess I actually learned SOMETHING doing all of that 4x5 work in photo school...)
Anybody have any suggestions for how to photograph a 4x5 chrome without a lightbox or a scanner, BTW? I have one of my old ones that I'd like to post, but not sure how to get it into digital form.

P.S, the Aston Martin area of the Auto Show in Detroit was the fucking darkest area of the entire showroom, and my ass forgot I was using Velvia 50. I'm just surprised it wasn't all black given the circumstances. Shot on a Yashica at f3.5, 1/50 sec.
>>2759330
p.p.s., the colors look far better in photoshop than it does online. I just can't wrap my head around how to avoid that happening.
>>2759339
What is your color space set to in photoshop? I had a similar problem when I realized that photoshop was set to use adobe rgb and everything else was srgb so the colors looked right in photoshop but not anywhere else.
>>2759539
I've been in srgb but it still compresses the hell out of the colors anyway once I save it. D:
>>2759602
Are you using save-for-web? What is the quality setting on your export? Are you sRGB all the way through your workflow?
