Quick reminder that the first two books, that most of /p/ regard as being the best two books, were un-curated.

The book can not be better than the content that /p/ has submitted, and if the books sucks, it's because the people on the board who ARE talented have taken up the roll of merely abusing and kicking those who are not talented, rather than doing much of anything to help the community improve.

Naw I'd make a voting system of some sort. I work in a internet engineering-esque field (specifically, I develop anti-cheat systems for online polls and surveys) so at least I'm qualified in that.

I can print cheap because the Canadian dollar is absolute shit right now (~0.7 USD), yet Costco hasn't updated their prices since we were at 1:1. So a basic 30 page book would be like $20 USD.

For something like a photo book, I think voting would work fine. Just let everyone submit like 3 images, then let them vote for 3 that aren't their own. Otherwise it becomes a dick measuring contest over who gets to curate.
