I seem to be missing something here.
It seems a lot of people on /p/ love the Ricoh GR
But i consistently see images posted by this camera that are noisy as fuck.
Now I'm not too picky about that, but a lot of people are.
Is that just part of the aesthetic of this camera or?

This is the original GR, not the new version. 8MP of gloriousness. I don't add any noise to the images, and actually reduce a good bit of the color noise.
