I got one of these at a garage sale for $1. Got it mostly as a novelty but I kinda wanted to shoot with it. The film was like 20 dollars per box?

25 for 8 photos lmao
polaroids are trust fund hipster kid shit now
>>2742846

It's an overused meme, I agree, but if anything is hipster, it's polaroid.

Impossible project is the only way to get new, un-expired polaroid 600 film. It's expensive as fuck (~$20 for 8 shots) and doesn't work like you remember (takes about 30 minutes to fully develop)
Old packs of polaroid film on ebay might be a little bit cheaper but long expired, so you're taking a gamble as to whether or not you'll get any usable shots out of it. I have no idea if polaroid film keeps as well as regular film when cold-stored.

I recommend buying EXPIRED Impossible Film, it's 50% off and the packs are usually only a month past expiration, so they still work pretty good. You might even like the imperfections they sometimes produce.
20 bucks for a pack is just too much.
Also, Color 3.0 is coming, halfed development time sounds awesome.

it's about as synonymous with hipster as anything can get
as in a normie would understand, as opposed to some /p/atrician claiming that 35mm focal length is hipster

I think their Black and white 2.0 develops in 5 minutes.

Meanwhile instax is a thing that exists. Dollar a shot, one minute dev time, beautiful colors.

according to this it's 1 to 2 minutes

Worth it if you like the effects that polaroids can have definitely with the impossible film.
I'll dump some polaroid photos that I found on the internet

I don't know why but I just like the warm feeling that Polaroids have
