>a focal length which everyone mostly has
>most hipster
If there is a most hipster its probably fish eye.
>>2742648
But everyone including my dad has a GoPro. I'd say wide angles in general as everyone has a hard on over 50mm and ~70-200mm teles.
why do people care about whats the most hipster? to feel superior? why not just go out and take pics or something instead of worrying what some asshole thinks?
No, focal lengths aren't "hipster" or not.
Some people sure are being "muh peers approve this high class style of shooting" - type of retard artists, and no doubt some of them like 35mm, though, but that only is attributable to the people, not to the lens focal length.
28mm is the most hipster.
>muh wide but not too wide perfect for muh street togging
>>2742678
24mm > 28mm
>>2742680
20mm > 24mm > 28mm

>TFW 18mm on my X-t1
Suck it nerd.
>>2742680
Too wide. You start including too much vertical, which your eyes don't naturally see.
Also
>12mm f5.6 Ultra Heliar
I don't even want to know how often you catch your own toes in the frame because

Fuck this cancerous thread.
What does 'hipster' even mean? In the context it gets used on this board it's definition changes constantly.
I hate you so much /p/, why am I still here... ?
If there was one I'd say 50mm would be, like I've read some comments from HCB for why he prefers it and it came out quite like an art school hipster. But who cares, 50mm is great and I like it too.
35mm to me is always a compromise, never quite what I want. Too wide or not wide enough.
Hey Im beeing retarded.
Ironically of course

autist trying to defend their ridiculous autism because in reality they don't know how to live any kind of life that requires both a lack of autism and being a normie.

Any primes below 200mm are hispter trash

So shooting models with my 135mm DC is hipster?
>>2742957
>Taking time with composing and focusing your shot
>Implying film isn't supposed to slow you down as a photographer and prevent you from taking uninspired snapshits
>Implying fields that require critical focus and time like wildlife and macro are autistic

The most hipster focal length is 8mm because you may use it with success on all consumer-available digital cameras.
The most hipster lenses is plastic 50mm 1.8 on Canon 1,5x crop.

Then tell us, anon, what ISN'T hipster. Don't tell me, it's snapshit landscapes and MORE boring street shots because hipster and boring are the only forms of photography according to /p/.
>>2743372
Babies, pictures of my food and cats. Though cats are marginal.
Tell me though, why do you even care what I think?
>>2743388
Tell me, why does /p/ think that photographers need its approval?
>>2742678

>i-is my dad a hipster?
Doesn't look good. Did he have a big, bushy beard and a predilection for black plastic framed spectacles as well?
>>2743400
Dubs say yes.
55mm on 6x6 is a-okay
