Not enough fill. Your dark shadows are adding a tone to the image that doesn't match what it seems like you're going for.

Background seems a little weird to me. It's all pink and red hues on the left but then transitions to a faded khaki on the right, with this big old patch of dark on the bottom right. I think if it was uniformly either red/pink it'd work better and be a decent backdrop.
