Bokeh is used to isolate a subject that is in focus. Are you trying to tell me that those seeds in the lower left corner are the subjects and anything else is irrelevant?

not OP, but also new, How would you pull an image like this entirely in focus? I find when I manual focus it never ends up focusing the hole imge when Im close like that. Is my aperature too low, or is it high? Im confused by that...3.5 is high and 16 is low right?
