I use a remote triggered flash for most of these shots, usually placed behind the guy(s)
The crowd is lit by the clubs strobe in this shot, so It took some attempts and timing to get this one

These are good, no question! When scrolling through I notice that they are very frozen, maybe even in embarrassing situations.
For example >>2699511. If you would not know any better, the guys stand still here, no mood corresponding to a party. On >>2699515, the poses could be embarrassing for one of these guys.

I know that the light conditions limit the scope, maybe multiple exposures are a possible solution, which at least I haven't tried yet. Nevertheless, as well as longer exposure times this will often break the shot.
Has someone another idea?

Kraftwerk Rottweil, nice location, much available light! I shot events there when I was a teenager, prob with a 5DI or 5DII. My subjects were similar typical like yours, however, I freezed people with a reduced flash and catched available light with shutter speeds around 1/30-1/60, f/3.5-f.5.6, ISO 640.
I'll see if I still have some of the photos.

Biff, I like the creativity of your shots, you to try things on your own. Overall, the result does not look great, that's why the previous criticism is appropriate. Come out of your dark club, I'd like to see you checking out Rottweil!
