Back track and try to remember where you were the last time you used it.
>>
>>19249
Why? What did you hear?
>>
>>19249

Kind of. Raised on a farm, walked the dogs through the woods to the road after snow, found a car buried in a snow-drift, with a pair of frozen feet poking out.
>>
>>19253
kind of? that counts anon. did you just leave it there and never tell anyone? that's what i would do.
>>
Once in a creek I found a luggage full of clothes, and a girls wallet full of credit cards drivers license and an airplane ticket

I always find cow, sheep and deer skulls everywhere when I'm /out/.

Don't know how they get there but hey.

Protip: don't move stuff like that, you might destroy or contaminate evidence.

If it seems suspicious, take a few pictures and go to the police with it, but don't move it.

Kind of.

When I was 15-16 I lived with my Great-Grandma and we were hearing a lot of shit happening over at the neighbors house. At like 3AM I was woken to more noises outside. I saw the woman dragging something to the truck and slammed the tailgate. I woke my Grandma up and we sort of followed her. The lady turned down a road which only led to one place. That weekend me, my Grandma, my Mom, and my Brother went there and looked around. Found her husband's dead body barely buried in the woods. You could smell it pretty clearly. We called the police.

Turns out her husband was an alcoholic and very abusive to her. She finally had it and stabbed him to death in his sleep after a drunk beating she took that night we heard a bunch of shit.

Morons like to party in the catacombs. It's believed that's the case.

Here's what Wikipedia has to say.
>There have been various reports of people walking into the catacombs, getting lost and then eventually dying of dehydration. Most famously, in 2009, Ukrainian catacombs explorer Eugene Lata wrote a widely circulated online post stating that he and other explorers had found the body of a local student named Masha, who on New Year's Eve in 2005 had wandered into the catacombs with her friends after drinking; the group of friends, he wrote, had all stayed there overnight, then left the next morning, but abandoned Masha, either accidentally or on purpose, and she was unable to find her way out. The post featured a graphic photo of what appeared to be a decaying corpse in the catacombs, which Lata wrote was Masha's body. A 2015 investigation by Vice write Mike Pearl, however, found no evidence that Masha had existed.

Yea while in the mines in the famous "Joshua Tree National Park" People dump dead bodies out there allll the time, I think like some 70+ people go missing there annually if I remember correctly, apparently some Marine from the Bn a few buildings down from me killed his wife and threw her body down the mineshaft, didn't find it (Was down about a roughly 100-120 foot drop. But you could smell it.

I will say this one time I found something strange. I was camping in Sam Houston National Forest. We hiked in and set up camp. The next day we noticed something strange.

About 30 yards away there was someone else's camp. It was made of a tarp and lashed to a few trees rather expertly. The tarp was beginning to fade and tear but the rope tying it up was holding fast.

Then we found some clothes. They were half buried. The jeans were "stiff" in the way they get when they're left out for a long time. We pulled them out of the ground and they fell apart.

We didn't poke around much. We didn't think it was creepy at the time but looking back it was pretty weird.
>>
>>19254
Did you lick them or suck the toes?

That sounds fun. A nation of murderous whores antagonizing malekind to the point they need killin' or even beg for death.

I actually found a literal native burial ground while camping.

I came across several sunken in mounds and disturbed ground in the middle of a remote forest. Had no idea what it was at first until I noticed some "totems sticks" hanging in the trees above. I then considered the mounds might be graves. It seemed like an unlikely Scooby-Doo plot when I first considered it, but I later confirmed it with a local native historian. He went into his archives and found a report from the early '70s on the specific spot. interesting read. It used to be a spiritual site and hunting camp hundreds of years ago, and more recently became a burial ground. It appears to be unused now. Most recent burial was in 2003, according to a plaque nailed to one of the trees. I didn't notice the plaque at first because it had grown upwards with the tree. It was quite high up and I only accidentally spotted it while hunting grouse.

I actually go back and camp there very frequently. It is an excellent location, aside from the spoopy graves. Excellent gold panning, geode collecting, and sight seeing nearby. There are some caves filled with quartz, a couple waterfalls, and some spectacular summer swimming holes. Fishing and hunting is also very good. It is extremely remote and I've never seen people there, besides a couple natives doing some kind of dance / chant on New Years Day. I was respectful and left when I saw them.

Don't have any pics of the graves, but here's the swimming hole immediately below them.

It was dark and I was drunk and there was a body on the ground that looked like it had an old soviet gasmask on, the one with the long trunk leading to the filter.

I poked it and it didn't move. Didn't look like a gasmask either. Pussied out and left. Came back few days later, didn't see anything. Was 18 or so at the time, was drunk but not that drunk, a girl was with me and she remembers it.

I mean it could have been a dead hobo in a soviet surplus gasmask too I guess.

Can you imagine it? Walking alone in utter darkness, just your hand on the wall. Your mouth dry from dehydration, your throat and lungs burning from the rank air and the countless hours of screaming for help. Your feet blistered messes and your legs sore to the point of exhaustion. Just walking. Nothing around you but solid darkness and cold damp walls in every direction. You’d have so much time to reflect on your life, everyone you’ve known, every event replaying over in your head. Somewhere along the line it hits you: “You aren’t getting out.” I wonder if she broke down and stopped moving on, giving in to despair or dehydration, sobbing to herself as she slumped to the cold hard ground. Nothing to comfort her, nothing to give hope. Or perhaps she kept going until she physically could not, driven by either the hallucinations that gave her false promise of salvation, or by the sheer will to live, keeping her going until she finally collapsed from exhaustion and dehydration. I also wonder if the rats started to eat her before she was completely dead.

Yeah, I was at a local beach just outside of Grand Rapids, MN called Gibbs Park, also known as Hill Lake. I was down just for swimming because here in the land of 10,000 lakes we only have a short period of hot, beautiful swimming season, and I love me some swimming.

Anyways, I invited a friend with, and he was one of those kids who was way more into stalking through the woods trying to do amateur mushroom/fauna scouting to research plant life later at home than he was in sun, swim, and girls, so me being a good friend, decided to humor him and go exploring in the woods. We ended up finding this cool trail and eventually, what looked to be an abandoned camp sight filled with strewn about clothing and backpacks which had Walmart bought poker chips in them. Being little shits, we decided to swipe the chips in case we could cash them in at a casino, and also decided to look for any other valuables. I picked up the back pack, and wouldn't you know, there's a freaking pelvic bone lying underneath it.

We noped right out of there, found a sheriff who was bitching out a dumbass who brought his ATV to the beach, and told him while losing our shit that we thought we found a dead body. He preceded to not give a shit at all until we mentioned the poker chips, at which point he immediately wanted to see the scene. He ended up calling in a forensic team, but the steam really went out of it when they figured out the chips were store bought and not valuable.

They bagged the bone and told us it was definitely a pelvic bold, and gave us this gem.

"It's too small to be a human, we're thinking it's probably a dog. ....It might be a kid, but it's probably a dog."

Still wonder which it was sometimes.

Are you in the Sierra Nevada mountains? That pic looks like the upper Yuba River or thereabouts. I live to the south in the American River watershed.

>>19268
Uh-huh. Thought experiment: 100 women murder their boyfriend/husband. Percentage that say "but he was abusive and an alcoholic"?? Maybe just a teensy bit higher than those who say "he was an average guy, I'm just a murderous psychopath...?"

Just reminds me of poor, sweet Jodi Arias - the terrible events she had to endure - just listen, she'll tell you how abusive that beast Travis was.

There was only one reason that case went to trial: we live in a society where a decent portion of the populace would still buy into such complete bullshit and ignore all of the actual evidence. Thank God that jury had enough sense between them to see through the "abused female" rhetoric.

I was on an excursion in the Yukon, way out in the wastes. There was twelve in out party, camping out at the base of a mountain range. We were supposed to head back in a few days before, but there was a viscous blizzard barraging us, so we decided to wait it out in the shelter of the mountain. Me and two of the other guys were getting a little stir crazy, so we went for a little hike (not too far, still in the protection of the mountain). We stumbled upon a little cave of sorts, although it was more like a crack in the rocky face. Anyways, at the entrance of it we saw a big mound in the snow. As we approached it, we realized it was a large polar bear, that had a layer of snow over it. By the time we realized this, we had already seen the blood splattered all over wall. We knew the bear was dead, so we began brushing the snow off. We found a hatchet buried in the side of its skull and wounds all over its neck and head. As we lifted the head out of the snow, we saw a bloodied human hand in its jaws. We figured that some guy managed to kill the beast at the cost of his hand, but as we went further in, we found the rest of him. One of my buddies threw up, and after confirming he was dead we headed back to camp.

I'm no expert on body decomposition, but if I had to guess, it was fresh. Our theory was some guy got caught in the storm and tried to stay in that little crevice, although I have no idea what anyone would be doing that far out, alone, and without equipment.

We told the authorities when we got back, but they said they couldn't do anything about it until the spring, and that they hadn't heard of any missing people or anything.
>>
So far one and a half. One hanging from a tree the other in his car with a pipe going from the exhaust to his window.

The chap in the car asked to be left alone so I just pointed out that he'd be there for a while because he was sitting in a deisel car and was outside before going back to my vehicle and calling the police.

The worst part is that she was drunk at first. We've all been there, really drunk and cocky, full of ourselves. She wandered away from the group, probably had a light and wanted to explore. Then she went deeper and deeper, until she couldn't hear her friends anymore. But the panic doesn't set in. She stumbles around, looking for the way back but everything is blurring together in her intoxication. Eventually she sits down. It's cold and she's sobering up just a little. She feels like if she falls asleep that she'll be found by her friends, so what's the harm in a little nap.

Hours later she wakes up. Freezing, sober, and the reality of what has happened sets in. She probably had a nice dream, laughing, playing in the warm sun. Maybe a dream from her childhood, full of good memories. She gets up from the cold floor, freezing, and realizes that what happened last night was no dream. She has no idea where she is, can hardly see anything (if she even has a light) and can't hear anything. I think this is when the panic sets in. You know that feeling of anxiety that always accompanies a night of drinking? Imagine that, but 100x worse. She probably broke down at that point, had a good cry. Then picked herself up and started trying to find the way out. Days pass, her light is long gone. She's dying of thirst, her stomach has never felt more empty. Finally she succumbs, probably passes out mid-step.

I wonder what was going through her mind right at the end. Surely she could only focus on how hungry and thirsty she was. At some point did her thoughts grow more erratic, as the fatal dehydration set in? Towards the end, could she even process what was happening? Maybe she stopped walking towards the end, just curled up and accepted that death would find her there, where she sat. Those last few hours must've felt like years, as she sat/lay on the ground, waiting. Do you think she cursed god, or sought his forgiveness at the end?
>>
>>19330
she probably accepted her fate, and was at peace.
