Nah it's a dank rock. It looks powerful. Fuck monotonous bodies of water

Nailed it! Was there for 3 days last week. Was planning to walk much, much more, but went over board one on the third day thinking I was super man and fucked up knees. Am sitting at home now waiting for them to recover then I am going to head back up and continue my walk. Hopefully should be back up next week for 4-5 days.

Veteran's Beach - Veteran's Park - Grand Rapids, MN
Fun fact: I lost my virginity on this beach. Also, there's a bitching, huge oak that stretches over the water that's sturdy enough to climb on and will bring you a good 10-20 feet out, and provide ample space to sit and chill out for hours.
Normally pretty secluded, big enough for the occasional fisherman to spread way out and not buy each other. Even know a guy that used to sneak in and lived there over the course of a year because he was homeless, that was a true /out/ experience. It's pretty nice, especially considering it's nestled in the center of a business district of the town.

Sunset over the Sierra Nevada range somewhere east of Yosemite.
High winds aloft form these wave-like clouds up around 25000ft, with standing lenticular clouds (lower left in the distance) forming at lower altitudes downwind of the peaks.

I heard it snowed on the French side as well, I was very close to the Italian border, in the Vanoise national park that is linked to the Italian Gran Paradiso national park, but I left a wek ago
>>997816
Nice pic.
Here I was in the Gran Paradiso national park looking towards the Mount Blanc (you can see it cut in half by a cloud)
Also are Religious symbols on top of the mountains a thing in the US?
Superstition Mtns, home of the Apache thunder gods, and the lost Dutchmans Gold etc. really nice. Full of Canadians, which I don't mind.

We should organize an /out/ meetup over there where we all leave skinned animals and bones around there property and peek through their windows at night while dressed like creepy cultists, then when they leave, go full Viking-raid mode and burn it to the ground. Or maybe I'm taking this too far...

Sweden.
There are forests with the occasional lake here and there. Seen one, seen all.
>>999443
Sweden isn't that bad man, sure you have to go far north for proper mountains but at least you have a very lightly populated country, and there's Norway nearby
It could be worse, like the Netherlands.
