Halp!
I need an app that lets me save part of Google Maps in Earth view down to the closest zoom available. Im not an expert, I tried some apps, they sucked, for many reasons, Im off for some walkabout tomorrow, I will have a paper map, off course, but I want someting that will work on a 7inch tablet.
Not that I need it, It'll be just 2 days, but I wan't to try that thing.
Since this is a slow board I will provide pics later.

I don't want to screenshot, I've been printing screenshots before, with my own info added (pic related), I want to be able to freely use zoom in - zoom out in satellite view mode, while off-line.

Im not but I know what you mean, I'm cool with using paper maps, but the whole advantage to using map on a digital device, if any, is that I can look close up at any objects that satelite took pictures of, like small lakes or bunkers or ridges. I want to try it out for once.
Otherwise I wouldnt even bother taking it. Fag. :)

If you save a very large satellite image on your computer, then transfer it to your phone, you will be able to zoom etc. Of course it will be simple image scaling, no scaling text or map symbols or anything.
