so in my country old busses are incredibly cheap. im thinking of buying one and using it as a home. the fuel consumption is incredible so id use it in a "moveable if necassary" fashion. thoughts ?

Perhaps looking into alternative fuels? What is cheaper than petrol? Natural gas/methane or propane maybe?

I've thought about this but never figured out where I would keep it

Propane powered bus would be real cheap and would make Hank Hill proud!

Cheap is a term you may not be able to apply to other locations in the world. Where I live, methane is the cheapest alternative to gasoline and propane is more expensive than both. Thus, you only ever see LNG/CNG trucks around here for alternative vehicles.
Hell, wood might be cheaper for the OP and a woodgas unit might be the way to go.

If it's a bus it probably has a diesel engine, all you need to do to run on vegetable oil is add a heater to keep the fuel tank and lines warm, and a small auxiliary fuel tank to fill with diesel to start the thing.
Do people not realize that buses are heavy memes? anything much longer that a short bus is going to be beyond impractical.
Just get a campervan, they exist for a reason. (the exact purpose memebuses are trying to fulfill)
