Can I please get some help identifying this bone.
I assume its a rodent mandible due to its size, but it seems to have been cut off and the teeth arrangement seems odd to me.

It was found /out/doors but okay I'll ask them

Definitely not a rodent. First guess would be bobcat based on the jaw shape, but that canine is a little wide. Where abouts did you find it?
opossum ?

If you "was dis" guys would include a ruler and provenance with your finds, it'd make things ALOT easier.

Thanks. Haven't posted much nefore but you all seem worldly.
It was found in south florida, Broward county specifically.
It is about 3 inches long but it qas definitely cut, a nice clean cut so I don't know how long it would have been.

Okay I have been looking at mammal mandibles for comparison. It doesn't look like anything I can find. Wish more of the teeth were intact
