Think about a situation where you are forced to remain in a room for the next 3 years.
And you have a nice 50m2 room/bunker with 2.5 meters in height.
Assuming there isn't any nuclear danger.
You got solarpanels that can produce 5kWh max and a battery that is capable of storing 85kWh
You got a storagesystem that is limited to 5TB in total storage, you can choose the type of media it's stored on. You can use multiple types.
Tanks of sorts (water, waste water, compost, gas,...)can be placed outside the room but you can't access them directly, so you must use pipes to get access to it's content. But also the containers are limited to a size, at max a container can be 2000L
Main things to think about is:
1) Food production/supplies
2) Water filtration
3) Power consumption
4) Comforting enviourment for staying in for 3 years.
5) Assuming there wouldn't be much left of sociaty, try storing some cultural information on your storage system.

That is actually not a really good idea. Without proper air ventilation it's a death sentance to actually burn up cigs in there.

Mmmkay. So, an average yooman consumes 19 ft3 of oxygen per day. That's 0.5382 m3 of pure oxygen, per day. Now, air is only about 20% oxygen. That means the total volume in the room can be reduced by the other 80% for our purpose of figuring how long one can breathe (125 m3 of air / 5 = 25m3 of oxygen). Let's simplify things further by reducing oxygen consumption to a meager half cubic meter daily...you'll die from asphyxiation in under two months without proper ventilation, even if you don't smoke in the room. That was a fun game; everyone playing just died. Also, I lose.

Hold your horses.
But there is a way, to actually have living plants around.
Which was the main reason why I made the room so big and gave the ability to store tanks with water or any other resource.
If you use a closed cycle hydroponics system, you could actually keep yourself alive foodwise and oxygenwise. Bonus: Fresh food.
The only thing that is bothering me how long it is able to last with proper maintainance
(By the way, I still think smoking cigs in there even with the farm is a horrible idea)
