I don't know if we've ever had a foraging thread!
You'd be surprised at all of the native species of edibles that are in your area.
Most of the plants have anticancer and immune system boosting properties.
Let's get back to our roots and share some knowledge. the more you share, the more we can eat.
For my Florida bros, Eattheweeds(.Com) is an amazing site.

I will right out all the edible plants I've researched in Florida after I get off from work. My occupation is a Florida Park Ranger.

Best field to identifying plants outdoors? Preferably not just edibles but all plants.

Pennywort is an old world medicinal plant that was/still is used to aid in abortion for pregnant women. I'd want to greatly research it if I were a pregnant woman prior to ever consider using any part of the plant if I were not wanting to cause injury. Then again similar research should be done prior to eating most wild things when in that condition.

We have about 4-5 adequate threads per year is seems. The lesser threads 404 in a few short days it takes to reach page 10.

It's so abundant here in Florida
Asia uses it as a vegetable in soups and dishes

When I'm off from work, I will put a ton in of what if found in Florida

It's an amazing ecosystem for such diverse plants and flowers
