Calling all So Cal street legal dirt riders. Lets meet up and go for a little offroad ride at Santiago Canyon near Cooks Corner Biker Bar
>>960994
how much does an entry-level used dirt bike cost?
>>961012
I bought my first street legal dirt bike for 2300, but if you want an off road only bike, you can get one for about 1500. Yamaha and honda make very reliable and extremely low maintenance trail bikes
>not going to glamis
>>961119
I miss glamis, but i dont have the room for a fourth motorcycle just for the sand
>>961119
>riding a quad

nice

I ride to enjoy the /out/doors, so this is an appropriate board to post this on. I would be willing to bet that I enjoy the outdoors more than hikers and backpackers. Backpackers only invest a few hundred bucks on some light weight gear, I've spent tens of thousands of dollars on moto gear, moto camping gear and motorcycles in order to get /out/ and appreciate nature. Plus having an off-road motorcycle allows me to see more of nature.
>>961277
Just as long as you stay on maintained trails.
The location is big bear ca
>>961278
Not necessarily, I'm guessing granola eating ninnies like you haven't heard of enduro
>>961278
I just remembered, backpackers tend to flock to trails, so there is very little difference, except I can measure how far I can travel in hundreds of miles per day, rather than single digits like hikers
>>961285
I just don't like it when people scare game away and ruin trout streams - and I'd like to put a bullet into people who ride through redds.
>>961289
Well it's a good thing snowflakes like you don't own firearms, because I would hate to have to draw my gun and report a death while on vacation
>>961294
Drink bleach. All you have to do to not shit where other outdoorsmen eat is to stay out of backcountry areas before the rifle season and not ride through trout streams, especially in the high country.
>>961310
>Keep people off public lands
>>961458
It's an issue of courtesy before it's anything else.
>>961458
>it's my right to tear up public lands with my bike
>>961477
"Stop liking what i dont like"
>>961483
>I'll use a picture on 4chan to imply that you're some kind of edgelord if you call me out on my bullshit
Oh no, whatever will I do. Besides, obviously, stringing wires up along biker trails.
>>961288
If that's how you measure how much you love the outdoors, your dick is tiny
>>961462
These type of dildos don't understand civility until they are treated that way in kind and are helpless to do anything about it
Well anyway sounds like a cool meet up
>>961288
>Single digits
I didn't read the rest of this conversation but I've walked over 20 miles in a day multiple times. Once four days in a row. Get on my level, pussy.
>>961567
Agreed. Shame I'm a few thousand miles away. Have fun lads.
>>961730
Yup. Something in the Rockies would be doable.
>tfw I want to get into dirt biking
>tfw I never learned how to ride a bike
>>962360
but it's not too late for either of those things anon
>>961282

Just recently turned 18 and I am enrolled in the highschool. Used to be in cross country I've run run just about everywhere in Big Bear
>>962399
I'm going up to big bear on Friday to do some riding and camping
>>961483
Enjoy my wires :^)
>>962360
Just buy a $300 mtb off craigslist. It's the best way to get /out imo
>>965265
im going Sunday to rock climb
>>961200
That's not your stereotypical quad though, that right there is a banshee.
