Hey, out. A few friends of mine and I wanna start doing alpine tour in the alps above 4k meters. One of us has good experience in the field and will guide.

Now to my question/discussion:
What essential things do I need? Where can I save money and buy cheap stuff? What HAS to be high quality?
I have about 400-500€ at my disposal, but the less I spend, the better.

Also,which >4k in the swiss alps can you anons recommend for intermediate level mountaineers

Yeah, forgot to mention I already have those and a harness aswell. A friend has the rope covered. Most important things I need are probably a hardshell jacket, ice pickaxe (or what it's called) and crampons
