Pic related - Fjallraven Skogso jacket
>>
>>946805
Hah! I own that jacket. Really like it. At the time I was looking for something that would basically be a upgrade from wearing a classic woodsman shirt when outside and when I did not need a full water proof. So aestethic, light softshell I guess.
>>
>>946844
Ok but in your best effort at being unbiased... Is it comfortable?

I'd really like to buy one (the unlined version). I bought something kind of similar material wise, and while it was aesthetic, I found it bunchy and uncomfortable. Is the skogso cut in such a way that makes it comfy? I have no way to try it on first

Either you were in a true survival situation or youre /out/ing wrong.
Stay off Youtube for your future "survival"/bushcraft tips
>>
>>946805
Youre the reason people dont take bushcraft seriously

Chill out fag.

Go out more and understand that it's not that big of a deal either way.

Says the guy behind his computer.

Batoning is like using an axe to dig a hole. It can be done but its the absolute fucking wrong way
>>
>>947023
Negative, batoning needs to die

I'm rockin Arc'tyrex, LL Bean, Moose Creek, Smartwool GoLite and Icebreaker lately.

I'm loving it.

Come on man... present a better argument than "it's wrong" raging. Batonning wood is coming a standard thing now. I used to feel the same way about its really not that rough of a concept to come around to.
>>
>>946854
I have the unlined version.
The cut of the Skogsö is more slim than that of - say Fjällräven's Greenland jacket/parka. I think the picture in the OP gives a realistic impression of how the fit is.
About the material. I don't know about you previous experiences with 65% poly /35% cotton, but I've always liked the G-1000 material. I can't say that Fjällrävens polycotton is more or les comfortable than other polycotton since I do not have anything to compare it with. The material can feel a bit stiff right after it has been waxed, but it soon gets softer after a bit of use.

Ive been happy with everything that I have from that company (the Skogsö jacket and 3 pairs of pants). It's top notch quality, good looking but also expensive and hyped.

I don't know man, but it looks so fucking good it makes my dick hurt.
>>
>>947084
I butter my toast with the back of a spoon. Does this also incite rage?

Basically you're a fucking cunt who can't mind his own business. If someone wants to baton, let them, don't spill your spaghetti everywhere because someone has a different opinion to you

Does anyone know if the current pendleton wool shirts aren't insanely itchy?

I bought a vintage one which was aesthetic af for like $20 on ebay, but jesus christ it was itchy. I also discovered I needed a tall fit, so it had to be sold anyway.

they're just so damn effay

yeah, this

last week i tried to get a greenland parka in the sale but it was too expensive for my taste

i got this one by fat moose instead for 40 euros
its cotton nylon with a PU coating and good insulation

a parka design would have been more practical though
>>
>>948481
>too expensive for my taste

Sounds more like your taste is too expensive for your wallet.

Just admit you are poor, too poor for the things you want.
>>
>fjallraven
I mean it has nice clothes but charging as much as they do for chink made stuff is fucking delusional. Bring back production to Sweden and then maybe we can talk. Stupid /fa/ggots still support their policies though.

you might get the effay outdoor feels though
