What's your budget solution for a nice down sleeping bag?

I'm on a budget and need a 0- 10 degrees Celcius sleeping bag/quilt/whatever for around 100 euros.

What's your project. (overall cost, materials used etc, pics?)

Did the PCT with this last year. $50 shipped, it's a no brainer. It's about a pound heavier than most down mummy bags because of the low quality fill, but the weight made it more cozy for me and I couldn't justify spending 3X more for that little of weight savings.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Winter-10-to-25-Degree-Sleeping-Bag-Black-Blue-Camping-Outdoor-Duck-Down-/190912622979?hash=item2c73477183:g:ru0AAOSwT5tWKEKC

Quality down fill is expensive, even if you were to stich your own bag. In a perfect world, I would blow $400 + on an oversized down quilt from Enlightened Equipment. Good luck faggot.

>hiked the PCT with some mystery 50 dollar China tier and Dollar General tier sleeping bag you got on ebay...........

Sure you did.

What is/out/'s consensus on Quilt's? I'm interested in knowing how they perform compared to bags.

This is me waking up in the bag at Harts pass on a snowy morning, about 30 miles from Canada. I have hundreds more pictures if you still don't believe me, all the way down into San Diego County.

Btw, I did the whole trail broke with $200 worth of backpacking equipment and an EBT card.

reviews on this seem pretty nice, plus its insanely cheap but is it 65 dollars down the drain or worth a try?

Lol. You're a manlet. That nag fits people who are like 5.5 feet
>>
>>945027
Is that goose down bro? nice baffles on the down bag bro, fucking radical loft and that bag bruh bet its super fucking warm in the backcountry and shit bruh, whered you get that? dam bruh
>>
>>945027
wasn't that a little too warm of a sleeping bag? maybe the rating isn't what they say it is. I did the AT in a 40 degree synthetic and sent it home after the first 700miles. Bought a cheapass blanket in walmart when it got colder up north.
>>
>>945049
kek it's over 6.5 feet long. Instead of spewing shit out on the internet because you've never done anything with your life, you might consider offing yourself you passionless cunt.
>>945050
The ebay ad says its 90% down, the rest feathers. I think it's probably 500 fill, which is difficult to come by because manufacturers don't make bags that inefficient anymore.
>>945081
I slept in my clothes every night and I hardly ever left it open to breathe. In hind sight a zero rating wouldn't have been that bad. Slept in the snow on San Jacinto and near the border in early October and never was too cold. The altitude is probably higher on the pct on the jmt and up in northern Washington.
>>
What's your opinion on quilts:

http://sleepingbags-cumulus.eu/uk/categories/sleeping-systems/quilt-250?gid=53&vid=7

this doesn't seem to expensive, and I ve heard sometimes groups of people buy cumulus bags/quilts in bulk to reduce the price more.
I would be in.
>>
>>944985
Idk if anon is still here but there was one anon on here that hand collected the goose down.
>>
Would a polar fleece blanket work for sleeping purposes instead of bag? It's smaller and lighter, I guess.
>>
>>944985
Aegismax D and G series on aliexpress (D700, G700, possibly G400 should be warm enough).
Not stitched through baffles, decent loft, fairly cheap.

Reddit has a thread or two with photos, videos, aliexpress reviews also have some photos.
