it really depends on where you are going .. i use a sog machete most of the time for everything including copping wood.. but i do a lot of bush whacking .. It also makes a great weapon if you need it ..

desu I use the parcel hook and main blade way more than the scissors. I would gladly buy a SAK that just had a non-serrated one-handed blade, hook, beer opener, can opener and hole puncher, but I doubt they'll make one like that.
