wow this board is so aggressive, I'm leaving
pretty damn fun, wish we would have more snow this year here in Denmark but it doesnt look like we will be getting any more
Like this.
it's infinitely more cozy than camping in any other season.
less people arround, therefore better. but also less resources and greenery. love winter, wish for more.
sleeping in a tent with snow gently falling is fantastic, especially with a heated tent. this was this winter at a place called "Sletten" in Denmark near silkeborg, fun comunity trip, took some more pictures, may post them here if the thread is still alive when i get back from the dentist tomorrow, the pictures really show how quickly the landscape can change in winter
Pretty fucking fun.

kys poorfag
I'm not even the snowmobile fag from above, but I hate pussy faggots like you and your disdain for fun things because you're poor
>>941080
i have disdain for things that are obnoxiously loud and negatively affect the experience of being /out/ for people for miles around. you want to go fast, that's fine, but do it on a track instead of the woods, for fuck's sake.
>>941087
>the woods are mine
>REEEEE
kys
>>941088
no, the woods are EVERYONE'S. that's why i don't shit them up going BRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPP like some selfish, unaware asshole.

It's the perfect texture for running, very low impact, and it's dry so your feet don't get wet.
Winter /out/ is best /out/

Are you describing yourself?

SO FUNNY I FORGOT TO LAUGH
All firewood is pretty damn soaked
your feet is soaked in few hours, but basicly its fun

I agree with this guy even if he'\s overly aggressive.
>tragedy of the commons
>hiking in summer
>slog back down takes ages
>will probably fall and break your leg
>hiking in winter
>just sit down and let gravity take care of it
>summit to bottom in minutes
Need a bit of advice/perspective here.
Tomorrow I'm gonna spend 8-10 hours in forest and I'm still kinda new how to do /out/ activities properly.
Making fire and camping is forbidden and I don't think I'm fit enough to endure 8+ hours of walking after getting there on foot.
According to forecast it gonna be -5~-10°C with possible heavy snowfall.

Someone's never worn a decent pair of boots
Its fun wandering through terrain youre used too with a dusting of snow or even heavy whitout. Just be sure to be prepared for whats coming. Make sure you have a path back or good sleeping setup and heavy down bag to get you through, consider bringing a light wool blanket as well.
If the roads and paths are going to be icy, bring spikes. If there is deep snow bring light snow shoes or those Japanese wakan if you can find them. If you want to try trudging the snow it will take extra time and tire you out so know that. Its good to have spats or light gaiters too, snow in your socks is a bitch and chills your feet real quick.
