used to really be into this stuff but I've kind of given up on primitivist "theory" and just read anthropology/ethnography texts on actual hunter-gatherers. wanting to abolish symbolic thought like Zerzan calls for is absolutely fucking ridiculous.

He is a very intelligent person and writes well, but he doesn't have the social skills to be persuasive really.

His Industrial Society and Its Future is very good and pretty much irrefutable. His other writing, which is mostly centered on how the revolution against technology will unfold, is less interesting because he doesn't come off as a guy who is really capable of understanding the masses. He admits as much, more or less, by focusing on the idea that some core group of revolutionaries will have to do most of the work. But this mistakes the scope of the change he is calling for and it ignores the fact that throughout history the more technologically advanced society has dominated.

I was into Anarcho-primitivism because it seemed to respect the laws of nature. At the end of the day I realized that protecting mother nature could not be done without using force. So I became a National Socialist. Another key thing is that all races are different and am now against race mixing because it would do nothing but mud down the thousands of years it took for my Japanese ancestors to evolve to what they have become, soon we would be nothing but a bunch of browns. I can tell you one thing, a black man ain't natural to the bamboo groves and the cold of north Japan.

While I am by no means a fan of the "anarcho" portion of things it does interest me. Technology is pretty harmful to society. As an Evolian traditionalist I would prefer a society akin to the Indo Aryans.
