I had a fur felt hat once and can confirm sweat all day. I guess it's less of a problem in desert air?

Picked the hat up at a farmer's market in Tucson a couple years ago. Made from palm so it's fairly waterproof; I once spilled an entire beer on it and just shook it off with no soaking present. It used to have a belt around the head, but it was pretty cheap and broke after a short while.

My friend found the feather while hiking in the White Mountains. A hawk flew over and a single feather drifted down to him, then he gave it to me.

I've been on a lot of adventures with my hat, it's never let me down.
