If you're European then its easier to my understanding as its made nearby. Most sources will be mil surp i believe. Not sure about America, but if you ebay you may find the occasional bit floating around check europe ebay too if you got cash for shipping.

You can get a fleece lined gorka 3 for another $10 which is kinda nice for cold regions, or if you wear it over a tank top... But it also kinda defeats the purpose of it, since the canvas fabrics are chosen to allow airflow and dry quickly. Adding a fleece lining to that probably makes it less quick to dry.

Yea i live in Europe, i kinda want something versatile so i might go with the fleece lined one, although you could just wear warmer shit underneath i guess. How exactly is the sposn suposed to be better, in what way i mean if anyone happens to know?

Higher quality materials and better workmanship on the stitching. There's YouTube reviews where they say bars is kinda like a burlap sack that's been repurposed into a suit, whereas spons feels like it was designed to be high quality with less compromise.

What is this shenanigans with sposn gorka versions? Anyone know what the deal is with ar/d/e/rmkmf/rm/r/s versions of their gorkas, i have no clue what i'm looking at here, and couldn't find an explanation online...
