Planning a trip to Norway with a couple of friends. Any hidden gems in the south region of Norway or the south-west region of Sweden?
Thanks in advance.
There's loads of hidden gems. This is Dale/Askvoll.
Look at Hardangervidda-Aurland or Sunnmorsalpane

What time of the year are you visiting?

If Jotunheimen is not too far north for you then thats a scenic area. Maybe not exactly a hidden gem. Hardangervidda is huge and wild but more flat than the first mentioned.
Both countries have a very nice archipelago in the south if you like coastal stuff, has to be experienced in the summer though.

If you go further inland there are a ton of options and hard to go wrong btw. I quite like Fyresdal but there are a hundred places just like it.

The coastal area just south of the norwegian border called Bohuslän is beatiful. Lots of comfy small fising villages. But yes go in the summer.
If you like driving, Trollstigen looks fantastic.
Screw norway, go to finland and meet dudesons.
