What music do you listen to while out?
>>919649
Blue grass or outlaw country.
Nothing while I'm hiking. But on the trip to the mountains I usually blast Drive-By Truckers in the car. Then a song will get stuck in my head the whole time I'm /out/ and I sing it constantly to myself. Finally listening to it again when I find my car is one of my favorite feelings.
>not listening to dungeon synth while innawoods or nightwalking
>>919655
Nice.
> Listening to music while out
I'd like to take a break from my thrash and power metal and just enjoy the peaceful sound of nature
>>919649
I listen to field recordings of nature for that double nature feel.

Good job anon.
Listening to music while /out/ is kinda retarded tho. Unless you got some Slim Thug goin while mowing the lawn. But innawoods, you will never even hear the skinwalker before it's too late if you have headphones in.

This is acceptable on the beach. No skinwalkers on the beach.
Love a bit of Enter Shikari while I ride the trails on my bike. Nothing while I hike though, that's part of the experience.

This guy knows whats up.

>double nature feel
Do you mix biomes like listening to rain forest while inna-desert? I change up the seasons especially in the quiet of winter. Pic related: the pond where some of my spring and summer recordings were made.
I don't have to worry about skinwalkers. I live in Windego territory.
Don't listen to music when /out/, only when driving to a location or sitting in a train.
Eddie Vedder - Into the Wild OST.
Dire Straits, Dylan...

An anon in an /out/ music thread introduced me to this over a year ago. I shall pass on his gift.

This tbqh. True silence is a rare thing in this new world of ours. I mostly listen to my /out/ism playlists while on car and plane trips to and from being innawoods
You mean to tell me you ride your bike while deaf to your surroundings?
Holy fucking hell dude

Beach House while out is fantastic
>>919649
I generally prefer to not listen to music when I'm /out/ and just enjoy the sounds of nature, but when I'm in the car on my way there I like to listen to folk and country stuff

going to hit the slopes this weekend(my once yearly "snowboard" trip/flailing down a hill trip)
Got some Thelonious Monk loaded up for the ride down and then some rap for the lift up.
I usually don't listen to anything as it keeps my situational awareness up, but I figured I'll just stick to the front slopes and try it out for a change.
>>919649
>What music do you listen to while out?
Birds, frogs, owls, and similar stuff.
Usually jam band odysseys.

try dropping 3 hits of acid and listening to the forest's heart beating
It is a magical thing
I understand your feel anon
>>923759
Who the fuck is in that band?
And Primus with the original lineup of Les, Larry, and Tim was one of the best shows I have ever been to.

FOR OCEANIC /OUT/INGS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDjOAsxeokw
Alot of folksy indy stuff, but its more because of the vibe I wanna go for.
Really like this guy called Iain Morrison. Can't pull up the track atm because of phone, but look up Lost in the Archipelago by him.
Also Bon Iver is good. For Emma is some real /out/ shit considering how he did it one winter in a cabin
>>921932
>Nick Drake
Good taste. This is my designated night walk music.
>not listening to an ending by Brian Eno on repeat

That's the real shit, right there. He even died a gruesome and tragic death, just like everyone in his songs. True /out/-tier stuff. Are you a fan of Gordon Bok as well? If you haven't heard him, you might check his shit out. Pretty similar.
>>920041
Same rules apply. You can't hear it approaching if you're listening to Britney Spears.
tfw I was scared of cows and didnt continue.

Brian Eno, Harold Budd.. My fav out music to date though is still BOC.
