I took out the quad and my newest 10/22 breakdown. It straps to the rack in it's factory case really well. Got off about 200rnds.

I have held the temp at 49* F for heat so far. It comes on, but not often.

I am staying conditioned to winter temps for snow camping this season.

As said above, some people will dress for the beach and turn up the heat. I like to be thrifty, but that is just conceited wastefulness.

This consciencely conditions my layering habits. I leave the heater off in my truck, too. Admittedly at worst its only been 25*F on the very coldest mornings.

Are you burning wood yet to keep the heater down?

Are you planning any snow campout?

Do you whine like a bitch when your parents won't turn it above 65*F?

One last ride for the day, the wind chill cuts through my vintage M65 jacket more than I hoped.

The cold makes my eyes burn, even with eye protection.

My thumb got cold on the throttle, even with a nice leather work glove.

Next time my Gordini gloves, Electric goggles and a nicer jacket than M65.

I was hoping to get out and back earlier, but left just before sunset and got pic related on the return.

I did live in Chicago for 23 years and never witnessed anybody put cardboard on their windshield.
