With less than 10 days until Christmas, I need to get my father a gift. He's really into mountain climbing. This is not my area of expertise, my out interests are fishing and hunting. He's into these as well (as it was he who got me into both) but for the last few years he's been all about the mountains (Blanc, Matterhorn are the most recent he's climbed)
Can you suggest a gift, gadget, book or other useful thing to do with mountaineering? I know literally nothing about it. If anyone has experience mountain climbing you could really help me out.
Ideally any suggested gift should be available from amazon uk. Another thing is that most of the equipment he owns is top level in terms of price, whereas I am but a poor slob and must set a £50 budget on whatever I get.
Any and all suggestions welcome, I'm also very open to fishing and other out gift ideas.

No. But the old standby, hookers and blow is always in season.

£50 limit though, can you imagine the quality of blow and the attractiveness of the hooker I'd get with that?
Outsidey ideas please good sir

Get him a decent quality chalk bag and fill it with chalkboard chalk or sidewalk chalk. It'll be something he'll actually use, and he'll get a laugh out of it.
