battlbox unboxing
mission 22
spoiler alert
bag is pretty solid. not my style but it's a good bag.
this thing reads like an encyclopedia. if you have a question you look up what you want and it gives you an answer.
fatwood. never used the stuff before but i hear it works. burns like a candle.
i fucking suck with any kinda sharpening device. i dunno if i don't have the patience or if i'm a retard. probably a little of both
this is my favorite thing in the box. i dunno why.
used it today at work
it did not come with a negro cat
i was considering keeping this as is and using it as a throwing knife. it's pretty well balanced...

Looks comfu
>>911559
...but it came with this so i might have to try it out
bag was ripped on one side. not really a big deal.
this knife is alright. nothing special about it. fits comfortable in the hand though. i'll probably throw this in my tool box or tackle box.
this thing on the other hand...
i own more than a few knives. recently been looking at higher end stuff but i have never once gotten a knife as sharp as this thing from the factory. it took skin when i touched it. not super familiar with this brand but i'm gonna have to do research.
and here's the mission card and the rundown

different "mission" every month. this one was bushcraft
>>911539
>this thing reads like an encyclopedia.
It's very outdated, I bought it when I spotted it in a book store and I regret buying it. It's only good for people who want to practice bushcraft the way they did in the old days.
But for a person in the 21th century it's awful. As far as I remember he guy suggests clothes and gear that are objectively inferior, such as buck skin shirt and moccasin shoes just to give you an example of which decades he lives in.
I do not recommend this book.
>>911625
good to know. i skimmed through and found it pretty interesting. i'm sure there's more practical shit out there now.
that said, we've been around for a few hundred thousand years and and if buck skins and moccasins didn't work we wouldn't be reading it.
i'd also gather than most people reading a book like this would be able to update what's being taught through experience. as a shooter if i'm reading a shooting manual from 1920 i don't assume everything they say is on point with technology but i can still learn from it
Thread read like OP is advertising his shitty product. Go advertise somewhere else. Or at least pay for ad space on this site so I'm not looking at porn all the God damned time
