It's been roughly a year since we met, and its awful. She said she liked my attitude towards her at first, but really liked how timid and needy I got when she actually showed up. Both, in their own ways. My driving factor in life was to have a family all under one roof, but that is now nothing but a wish that cant come true. Most of my time is spent being pathetic and meandering our house waiting for my wife to come home, since she works and makes bank.

Our relationship is going great, as long as I dont think about it at all. I was camping early spring once, pretty far up the mountains at a remote lake. It was starting to get hot in the city, but the mountains still had several feet of snow on the ground and early nights. The conditions are deceptive to eager and inexperienced hikers coming out hibernation.

I had been following someone else's trail blazed through the snow all afternoon before arriving at the lake. No sign of them. Figured they must be camping farther up the valley. I was wrong. Eventually, well after the sun had set and I had made camp, I spotted a light bouncing in the distance. It was headed towards me.

Turned out there was a woman day hiker, who had foolishly pushed for the peak and lost track of time. It got dark and she lost the trail. She saw my fire and headed towards me, trying to ask for directions back to the trail. Concerned for her safety I advised her not to try and make it back, but to instead just set up camp and share my fire. She had no overnight gear and didn't seem too keen on the idea, but I guess she came to her senses and realized the danger after being lost all evening.

She sat with me and we chatted for a while, I shared some food with her, and she even had a few sips from my flask. When it got late I offered her my tent and sleeping bag. I said I could stay up and tend the fire tonight, I didn't mind. She didn't think that was very fair and told me there's no reason we both couldn't climb into the tent and share covers.

There's a bit more to the story, but really who gives a shit. I ended up fucking her on all fours in my tent that night.
